It's been a busy time for us all since the rockingham trackday, with plenty happening at cadwell to keep us all out of the workshop.  This weekend see's Modified Live taking place at Cadwell park and we are hoping to get a couple of the track cars there for static display.

I'll also be putting up some picture from rockingham over the next couple of days.

With Rockingham approaching fast the 106 is the only car were taking to the French Car Show. It's having a check over and some new gear linkages fitted this week before the early start (too early for matt, he'll be sleeping in the back of the van) sunday morning. Hoping to be there for when the gates open at half 7.  We'll be set up in one of the garages so feel free to come along and see us.

After preparing and striping the white 8V Gti on sunday, it too got it's coat of the team colour last night and looks great. Hopefully towards the end of this week the body should be rebuilt.

At the end of week two the new shell is now fully painted and rolling again. Fitted with coilovers and some temporary steel wheels. Matt has removed the wiring loom from the donnor car and routed it, ready for me to start connencting and modifying it. The block and gearbox are in, just waiting for the gaskets to arrive before being rebuilt.

Martins former car is now fully stripped and masked ready for paint later this week, although this car won't be ready for the rockingham day.

Only a week after picking up the new shell it's already been sanded down and partially painted, this weekend sees the rear axle and suspension fitted.  The challenge has now been set to have it ready in 6 weeks for a trackday at Rockingham.  Watch this space to see how were getting on.

25th April

Yesterday saw the team head off to collect a very tidy Mk2 Golf shell which is to be the base for the teams 16v GTI track car. Photo's of the build of this and the 8v car which is being prepared for possible racing later this year will follow over the next few weeks.

Also you'll find a couple of new faces on the profiles page, Martin Wilson and Nathanael Warden both avid trackday drivers.
